Source of Rivers of Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a beautiful country and it is to say beautiful for its many reasons.One of the reason is ,it has many rivers.This country is situated in southern Asia, on the delta of the two largest rivers on Indian subcontinent-The Ganges and the Jamuna.Bangladesh is a land of rivers ,so it is a low laying land.It is surrounded by a network of rivers.Most of the rivers of our country rises from the Himalayas and falls in to the Bay of Bengal.The principal rivers of Bangladesh are the Padma , the Megna, the Jamuna, the Dhaleswari and the Karnafully.Some of the other rivers are the Surma, the Teesta, the Buriganga , the Atrai, the Turag, the  Titas, the Matamuhuri and the Mahananda etc.These rivers are our national treasure.Our agriculture also depends on the river water in summer season.
