The Naf River

The Naf river is a river marking the border of Bangladesh and Mayanmar.It rises in the Arakan hills on the Southern borders of the district and flows into the Bay of Bengal.The length of this river is 64km,the width is 1550m and the depth is 11.65m.It is an elongated estuary in the southeast of Cox's Bazar district, dividing the district from Arakan,Mayanmar.The river is influenced by tide.Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar district is situated on the Western Bank of the Naf river.The real romancing place for enjoying Bangladesh Travel is  Teknaf .The St. Martin's Island is a small Island in the northeast part of the Bay of Bengal.It is the only coral Island in Bangladesh.It is about 8km west of the northwest coast of Myanmar at the mouth of the Naf river..Naf river famous for nice Hill,Natural Scenery,Myanmar border and more beautiful spots.Historical Shapuree Island is located at the mouth of the Naf river.
